Hands-On Bike Maintenance – Drive Train

April 24, 2013 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

$45 - $65

Drive Train training – how to understand, maintain and use your bike's drive train.   This is a workshop organized and administered by REI in Austin, Texas.

The actual description – from REI – makes a perfect introduction to what this event is all about.  I think it is a well worth the sign up fee — which is $45 for a REI member and $65 for non-member;   Here is how REI describes the class:

"…Your bikes Drive Train is a key component to efficient riding. Join our certified bike techs for a hands-on class to learn about what makes up your drive train and some tips on general maintenance. We will cover how to inspect. adjust and maintain your front and rear derailleurs and other components of your bike's drive train. Bikes must be clean and in good working order to be used during the class. If your bike does not meet standards you may still attend the clinic. However, you may be asked not to work on your bike. Register early, class size is limited."

I think it is very well said.  So I encourage you to attend (if you are within the area of course)
